3. Products & Services
1 Life Memorials offers the following categories of products:
Temporary Memorials
Temporary memorials are designed for short-term use and may include temporary grave markers or interim memorial displays.
Permanent Memorials & Headstones
Permanent memorials include granite markers, headstones, and other long-lasting memorial products intended for cemetery installation or permanent placement.
Customization Responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring that all submitted customization details including names, dates, artwork, inscriptions, and photographs are accurate and final at the time of approval. Once approved, changes may not be possible.
4. Proofs & Design Approval (Permanent Memorials)
- Digital proofs for permanent memorials are provided within approximately 72 hours after order placement, excluding weekends and holidays.
- Production does not begin until written proof approval is received.
- Approval signifies acceptance of all spelling, layout, and design details.
- Changes requested after approval may result in additional fees and production delays.
5. Pricing & Payment
- All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change without notice.
- Prices do not include applicable taxes unless stated.
- Full payment is required prior to production or shipment.
- We accept major credit cards and other approved payment methods displayed at checkout.
6. Production Timeframes
Production timelines vary based on product type, materials, and customization level:
- Temporary memorials typically ship faster due to limited customization.
- Permanent memorials and headstones require additional production time after proof approval.
- Production timelines are estimates and not guaranteed.
7. Delivery & Placement
Free Delivery Radius
- Complimentary delivery and placement are included for the first 50 miles from our operating location or designated fulfillment point.
Extended Delivery
- Deliveries beyond 50 miles may incur additional fees based on distance and logistics.
- Any additional delivery charges will be communicated prior to fulfillment.
Carrier & Delays
We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party carriers, weather conditions, cemetery access restrictions, or acts beyond our control.
8. Returns, Cancellations & Refunds
Custom & Permanent Memorial Products
Due to the personalized and permanent nature of these items:
- All permanent memorials and headstones are final sale
- No returns or refunds once production begins
- Exceptions apply only in cases of manufacturing defects or shipping damage
Temporary Memorial Products
- Return requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery
- Items must be unused and in original condition
- Refunds exclude shipping and handling fees
Order Cancellations
Orders canceled prior to proof approval may be eligible for partial refunds, excluding design or administrative costs.
9. Cemetery & Installation Considerations
Customers are responsible for ensuring:
- Cemetery regulations allow the selected memorial
- All size, material, and installation requirements are met
- Any permits or approvals are obtained prior to placement

11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Liability is limited to the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim
